Music Mix 1 - The Nelson Colleges Combined Jazz Band

Music Mix is back for 2026 as part of NZ Music Month.
These FREE to attend events are part of our commitment to bringing a range of accessible experiences to the Nelson community to enjoy.
First up we have the Nelson Colleges Big Band, which is a combination of musicians between the two Colleges. They perform regularly at events across the South Island including Southern Jam, the Aurora Festival and with the Nelson Jazz Club.
The group play a mix of instrumental and vocal big band jazz pieces from old school classics through to modern arrangements!
