Join us for an intimate Music Lounge evening at the South Dallas Cultural Center featuring Grammy-nominated BeMyFiasco. Bianca “BeMyFiasco” Rodriguez is a musical powerhouse. Whether snatching souls on stage or writing for your favs, BeMy is on a mission to create your favorite R&B; one song at a time.
Joining the legendary The Foreign Exchange collective in 2021, she released her debut album, Where I Left You, which climbed to #4 on the Apple R&B charts. In Fall 2024, she returned with her sophomore album, Pretty Little Love, further cementing her place as one of modern R&B’s most compelling and emotionally resonant voices.
Keeping her momentum strong, BeMy recently teamed up with Finnish producer Misha for their collaborative release, “Aura Gold,” a genre-blurring offering that expands her sonic palette while staying rooted in lush, soulful storytelling. The pair took their chemistry overseas this spring for a mini European tour, bringing BeMy’s captivating live presence to international audiences.
Outside of her solo work, BeMyFiasco has built an impressive résumé as a sought-after vocalist and songwriter. She contributed vocals to “Violets,” a 9th Wonder production featured on Everything Is Beautiful, the Grammy-winning project from Robert Glasper inspired by Miles Davis. She also collaborated with RC & the Gritz — the band of Erykah Badu — writing and arranging vocals on “Anxiety” and “Give Me Your Heart” from their album The Feel, contributions that earned her a spot on their U.S. tour.
Her long-standing partnership with label head Phonte Coleman has opened doors to work with notable artists including Lalah Hathaway, Oddisee, Rory, and Carrtoons. She has also lent her voice to projects for SZA and the beloved children’s television institution Sesame Street, showcasing her versatility across audiences and genres.
BeMy’s buttery smooth vocals, razor-sharp pen, and electrifying stage presence have propelled her artistry into a new realm. Her lyrics are raw and vulnerable, her musical ear unmatched. Through every note and every line, she aims to inspire others to pursue what they love — boldly, fearlessly, and on their own terms.
Presented in partnership with Swan Strings, the Music Lounge series creates welcoming, accessible concert experiences while supporting free music education and community-based arts programming in South Dallas. Seating is limited to preserve the intimate atmosphere. All are welcome—come as you are and enjoy an evening of soulful sound and connection.
Swan Strings is a 501c3 nonprofit organization providing free music education, community concerts and sound therapy services to North Texas individuals without access.
The first 20 seats are free admission with registration. All seats are general admission. Limited seating available. Walk ins are welcome but priority will be given to registrants. All others will be waitlisted. Donations will help support free music education in South Dallas. No refunds. We will also be accepting instrument donations.
