About this Event
MIM 127: 2nd March - Releasing Music with Ditto with Jordan Hetherington
What to Expect
Music Industry Mondays (MIM) is a free weekly event series held every Monday, bringing artists, creatives, and industry professionals together with guest speakers from across the music industry. Each session explores a different area of the business - from artists and managers to labels, festivals, publishing, marketing, and beyond. Expect honest insight, practical advice, and real-world experience, followed by an open mic and open Q&A.
Meet This Week’s Guest
Jordan Hetherington is Partnerships Manager at Ditto Music, one of the world’s leading independent music distribution companies. With over six years of experience in music marketing and digital strategy, Jordan has worked across social media, brand partnerships, and artist engagement, including more than three years at Spotify, where he contributed to high-impact campaigns such as Spotify Wrapped.
At Ditto, Jordan works across strategic brand collaborations and supports flagship industry events including Ditto X: Meet the Music Industry, helping artists better understand the tools and opportunities available to them. Alongside his industry role, he is actively involved in the live music scene as both an artist and event organiser, championing emerging talent in the North West.
Bringing experience from both streaming and distribution, Jordan offers practical insight into how independent artists can successfully release, promote, and grow their music in today’s digital landscape.
