Music in Parks sets up shop in the iconic Domain Rotunda for back-to-back events this season, kicking off with a celebration of music and the passions it inspires on Valentine's Day - with husband and wife group group Aro followed by a special performance of from NZ Opera.Award-winning husband and wife duo Aro (Charles and Emily Looker) open the night. Their performance is wholly original, blending Emily's honey-voiced jazz with Charles' full-throated percussive sound and shades of haka.
Hot off a huge showcase at the Auckland Botanic Gardens, NZ Opera will be showcasing how operas, aria and operetta celebrate love with some of the most accomplished Opera Performers in Aotearoa.
