Currently in its eleventh season, Meridiem Wind Orchestra is a group of professional musicians, music teachers, and superb amateur musicians in our community. These remarkable woodwind, brass and percussion players bring high quality performances of wind ensemble music to the Capital Regional District, creating a model for the next generation of musicians and concertgoers, as well as an exciting and challenging collaborative experience for the musicians themselves. They come together twice per year to perform music that takes full advantage of the wind ensemble’s unique timbres and expressive capabilities, providing a listening experience like no other.
