Alton is still making essential records in 2026 including his latest - an electrifying cover of the Hugh Masakela classic “Don’t Go Lose It Baby” released in February on Osunlade’s Yoruba Records imprint.
To experience an Alton Miller DJ set is to be in the company of a genuine original, someone who partied at the Music Box in Chicago to Ron Hardy and counts the likes of Chez Damier as a close collaborator. In his own words:
“I cover different genres of House at different times in my sets based on a feeling that I get from the crowd - I truly believe in playing tunes that resonate with me, be it house, classics, afro house and so forth… I never try and put myself in a box”
