As part of the Music at St. Mary's Concert Series, The Hammerwind Duo is pleased to present Contemporary Blends, an exploration of contemporary music with a touch of baroque elegance. This concert features music written in the last 50 years and have their roots in the music of Vivaldi, Bach, and Handel. We’re performing selections from jazz pianist Claude Bolling’s Suite for Flute and Piano, the entirety of John Rutter’s Suite Antique, and brand new music from American composer Timothy Takach. The concert is free and open to the public. Secure parking provided.
