Every year on Memorial Day weekend, CrossFit gyms around the country come together to take on a workout in honor of Lt. Michael P. Murphy and all those who gave their lives in service to our country.Lt. Michael Murphy completed a workout called "Body Armor", today we call it "Murph" to honor him.
While wearing a 20lb weight vest
1 mile run
100 pull ups
200 push ups
300 squats
1 mile run
This is a community day for CrossFit gyms. A time to choose to do something hard in honor of those who no longer have that choice. We do this workout together, as a community, with intention.
We are going to do this at 9a instead of 930 because traffic will probably be terrible and we may spend a little more time chatting than normal, especially if I'm doing the talking.
