About this Event
---
Using the genocide in Gaza as a lens, Nicholas Mirzoeff (NYU) explores solidarity as a way of seeing, extrapolating from the spontaneity of bird murmurations to find new forms of resistance. He describes a murmuration composed of seeing in the dark. That is to say, unseeing capitalism’s unseeing by means of the assemblage of minor detail in the ancient tradition of the conference of birds.
