It’s Valentine’s Day! What better way to celebrate than a whirlwind Caribbean Experience? But, if you cannot board a plane this weekend, then don your tuxedos and dresses and celebrate on international soil with multiple Caribbean Ambassadors and Diplomats!
Tonight, at the invitation of His Excellency, the OAS Ambassador from the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, step onto foreign soil (actually international soil of many different nations), as we join diplomats from all over the Americas, and embrace the Caribbean in multiple styles with multiple flavors for a very special Caribbean Celebration at the Organization of the American States!
From the Island/Reggae/Calypso sounds of places such as the Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, and Jamaica to the sizzling Latin styles of the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and even Cuba, Things To Do offers you a chance to embrace multiple cultures of the Caribbean through music, dance, food, drink, costumes, shows, and much more!
As you step into this magnificent venue into the grand ballroom of the OAS (usually restricted to diplomats and high ranking government figures) we’ll be swept away like royalty into a majestic setting while embracing the multiple countries of the Caribbean. In a special cultural evening, we will recreate a visit to this Cultural Jewel of elegance, charm, music, dance great food, laughter, diplomats, new friends and more!
This event is a rare and exclusive event in partnership with Things To Do DC and Embassy Experiences. So, do not miss out!
