Get ready to celebrate the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in Magic: The Gathering with our exclusive TMNT Prerelease Event! This event gives you a first look at the TMNT set in a sealed-deck environment where each player opens product at the venue and builds a deck from scratch.
You’ll discover new cards inspired by the iconic heroes in a half-shell, pull powerful allies and items from the sewers to the streets, and build a deck on the spot using only the cards you open. Whether you’re battling with Leonardo’s leadership, Michelangelo’s wild flair, Donatello’s ingenuity, or Raphael’s fierce strength, this prerelease lets you experience themed gameplay and flavorful interactions in every game.
The sealed format levels the playing field and rewards creativity. It’s perfect for new and casual players as well as seasoned competitors — everyone gets to explore strategies and synergies unique to the TMNT set before Constructed formats begin.
TMNT Prerelease — Sealed Deck Rules
- Each player opens 6 TMNT booster packs to form their sealed pool.
- Build a minimum 40-card deck using only cards opened from those packs.
- Basic lands are provided for deck construction.
- You may include any number of copies of cards you opened (no copy limit).
- Your sealed pool includes all cards you opened — unused cards go in your sideboard.
- You may rebuild and adjust your deck between games using cards from your pool.
- All cards in your deck must be legal in the set’s sealed format and match color requirements you choose.
- Play with the standard MTG ruleset for prerelease events."
