Mr. Vale's Math Class:
You may or may not learn anything with Mr. Vale's Math Class but you're guaranteed to have a good time. This six piece funk band has horns that knock down the door and percussion-laden grooves that are the perfect accompaniment to any dance party. While you're at it, come grab some pots and pans & join in.
Alongside Jordan Vale on keys, trumpet and vocals, Mr. Vale’s Math Class includes musicians Nick Hamel on guitar, Milo Fultz on bass, James Ford on drums, David Burrows on Auxiliary Percussion and , Lhanna Writesal on saxophone along with a rotating cast of dynamic guest musicians.
Mr. Vale's Math Class seeks to evoke curiosity and create moments of play. Through our songwriting we explore anxiety and complex emotions, hoping to normalize the absurdity of being human and invite listeners to move their bodies, laugh, shout, and take life a little less seriously.
Our songs may bring a listener back to their formative school days and the emotions they experienced as they learned about math and maybe felt overwhelmed by the demand for right answers. Revisiting these familiar concepts, we introduce play in hopes to spark fresh curiosity and self-compassion.

Bringing some 'Nighttime Sunshine' to the cloudy town of Portland, Oregon, Tenants is a three-piece act of non-homeowners.
The debut full length album, ‘Nighttime Sunshine,’ is a true feat of collaboration, and manages to embody the three distinct musical voices of each member. At the heart of the record, lies a bold fusion of genres - from the infectious rhythms of disco, the emotive melodies of synth-pop, to the smooth sounds of yacht rock, and the raw energy of alt rock.
Tenants worked alongside Portland producer Cameron Spies (, ) and together they merged many diverse influences and aesthetics into a cohesive sound that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly new.
Hard Maybe:
Hard Maybe is a genre-bending neo soul/funk band hailing from Seattle with a sound described as a "fusion style completely their own." Fronted by the band’s main songwriters - singer/keyboardist Monica Parshotam and singer/bassist Troy Bohman - Hard Maybe’s sound is difficult to put in a box. With three-part harmony punctuated by horns, they seamlessly blend ingredients from back-beat driven funk, jazz, soul, and more to create an effortlessly cohesive and rich sound.
Hard Maybe seeks to inspire listeners with a sense of relatability in their music. The lives and identities of the band are woven through their songwriting, deriving from their own experiences navigating mental health struggles, harnessing neurodivergence, celebrating queerness, and embracing the awkward. By reflecting the ups and downs of life through song, Hard Maybe invites listeners on a journey to find joy, solidarity, and the courage to be unapologetically themselves.
