Theatre workshop -Moving Tales Physical storytelling with Ole Brekke and Ruth Lerche
Early Bird spots before the 16st of September
This workshop is an in-depth exploration of storytelling where we dive into the fundamental elements of physical theater.
Theater starts with play which is a primary human expression. We start imitating the world around us, embody it and reinvent through our imagination. It contains the fun of playing, the awareness of the dynamics of life and the urgency of storytelling.
THE PROGRAM
1. Playful Approach to Awareness: A fresh beginning to explore your awareness on stage.
2. Mime and Mimo-dynamics: The art of mimicking the world around us. Understand how everything moves and learn to touch the wonders of worlds through movement analysis.
3. Physical Presence and Voice: Focus on two fundamental aspects to captivate audiences –
your physical presence and the sound of your voice.
4. Storytelling: Improvisation exercises, enhanced spatial awareness, and delve into the nuances of voice projection and movement quality.
5. Meeting with the Surprising Elements: Discovering a state where participants surprise not only the audience but also themselves.
