About this Event
Moving Slow: A Body Pilgrimage
Join us for a transformative experience at Moving Slow: A Body Pilgrimage, where we embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing. This in-person event will take place at Sun Dial Garden in Botanic Gardens, located at 1 Cluny Rd, Singapore, 259569.
This meditation is inspired by the Body Pilgrimage meditation by a renowned Javanese Wayang Wong master - Bambang ‘Besur’ Suryono. This practice opens up one’s sensibilities towards one’s body, a very effective method to embodying your own spirit, and getting the connection back with your body.
During this unique event, we will explore the power of slow movement and its profound impact on our bodies and minds. Through going on a journey with this mindful practice, we will learn to embrace the present moment and reconnect with ourselves.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, Moving Slow: A Body Pilgrimage offers a safe, inclusive and a neutral space for all. Leave your worries behind and join us on this transformative pilgrimage, where you will discover the power of moving slowly and reconnecting with your body.
Sanat, an interdisciplinary performing arts practitioner and a life coach, will be guiding you in this journey through a forest walk in Botanic Gardens.
Keep your water bottles handy, get fresh before we begin this meditation and carry some mosquito repellant.
