We’re heading to the theater together to see Project Hail Mary, the highly anticipated film adaptation of Andy Weir’s bestselling novel — and the book that launched our very first Community Read back in Summer 2024.And the excitement is real: The film’s trailer shattered records as the most‑viewed trailer for an original, non‑sequel, non‑remake movie in its first week — soaring past 400 million views. With Ryan Gosling starring and Phil Lord & Christopher Miller directing, anticipation for the March 20, 2026 release is sky‑high.

Whether you read it with us in 2024 or you’re discovering it for the first time, this is the perfect chance to experience the adventure on the big screen with fellow book lovers.
