The Plot in a Nutshell
The story follows Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper), a famous country-rock star struggling with alcoholism and fading hearing. After a concert, he wanders into a drag bar where he discovers Ally (Lady Gaga), a struggling waitress and singer-songwriter performing a powerhouse rendition of "La Vie en Rose."
Captivated by her talent and authenticity, Jackson coaxes Ally into the spotlight.
