Join us for the very first Buxton History Festival, a new three-day event celebrating the past in the heart of Buxton.
Across the weekend, there’ll be a mix of talks, performances, and hands-on workshops led by historians, writers, and performers. Whether you’re deeply into history or just curious, there’s something here for everyone.
You can expect fascinating stories, new perspectives, and plenty of chances to get involved — including interactive sessions and traditional skills workshops.
🎟️ Tickets will be available for individual events, so you can pick and choose what interests you. If you would like to attend all the talks you can purchase a festival pass which also gives you discount in the Pump Room and entry to the Crescent Experience.
The festival also supports the work of the Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust, helping to look after and share Buxton’s heritage.
