Combining live music, fitness, and community spirit in Albany, California. Multiple bands perform in & around Memorial Park as you walk, run, stroll, roller skate or just hang out & enjoy the music. This is a family-friendly event that welcomes all ages and fitness levels. The 5K six-loop course course goes around the park and high school. Kids-only one-loop course (0.5 mile) for 10yo and under. Registration is only required for the 5K or kids course — the live music is free for everyone to enjoy!
Highlights for 2026: Event takes place at the end of May instead of late April, to reduce the chance of rain. Morning bands play from 9:45am–Noon and the event ends at Noon — no afternoon band. Starting line will be on Portland Ave at Pomona Ave instead of on Thousand Oaks Blvd as in past years. T-shirts are optionally available for purchase separately during online reg through April 30. Food vendors (pending). Pre-event training sessions by IBX Fitness.
