Find out how you can incorporate a varied diet of safe, healthy movement at any age and any stage of life. It's never too late to start !About this Event
Have you heard the new catch phase,
"Movement is medicine?"
It's a phrase used by health organizations and clinicians to describe how physical activity works like a multi-targeted, preventative and therapeutic treatment for the body and mind.
A powerful tool in helping to extend not just our lifespan but our healthspan, i.e., the number of years we can remain active, independent and fully functional into our later years, staying active can slow or prevent many diseases of aging and support brain and emotional health.
As we age, regular physical activity is strongly linked to lower risks of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, several cancers, dementia, depression, and premature death.
Wondering where to begin? Join Lynn on Feb. 3 to find out how you can incorporate a varied diet of safe, healthy movement at any age and any stage of life. It's never too late to get moving.
