About this Event
Looking to welcome more flow, aliveness, and embodied awareness into your life?
Move to Thrive is a guided movement experience blending breathwork, intuitive movement, emotional expression, and joyful community dance, designed to support your emotional and mental wellbeing.
What to Expect
- Grounding & Breathwork: We begin with grounding practices and breath awareness to help you arrive and connect with your body.
- Intuitive Movement: Gentle guided and free-form movement to explore your natural rhythm, soften tension, and increase body awareness.
- Emotional Release: Safe space to move through feelings, such as stress, frustration, joy, or playfulness, using movement as language.
- Joyful Bollywood-inspired Dance: A celebratory community dance, no choreography required, just free movement to uplifting music.
- Cool Down & Integration: Gentle stretches, breath integration and optional sharing to help you leave calm and centred.
You will:
- Release physical, mental and emotional tension
- Feel more grounded, connected and alive
- Experience freedom, ease and joy in your body
- Carry simple tools for everyday calm and self-care
What to bring: Comfortable clothes to move in, a water bottle. Move barefoot, in socks or shoes, whatever feels good.
Who this is for: Adults of all abilities. No dance experience required.
