About this Event
As we deepen into meditation practice, we may become aware of the profound relationship between movement and sitting. This 5-week series offers an opportunity to experience movement and meditation practices in a committed and engaged group, with lots of room for questions and dialogue. It's a strong passion of Rachel's to support folks as they find new and inspiring pathways into these contemplative modalities. Practicing with a consistent supportive community brings potent energy to the field of awareness that we create, and to whatever your own intentions may be.
In this 5-week series, we’ll practice yoga specifically as a preparation for meditation. The class will include 30 minutes of yoga asana, 30 minutes of guided seated meditation, and 30 minutes of discussion related to sitting practice and spiritual inquiry. We imagine there will be many rich exchanges that arise in this format, and we look forward to exploring it together!
All sessions meet on Wednesdays in October at Green Yogi Telegraph from 8:30-10am. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to settle in for the container. No late entries after 15 minutes into workshop start.
