Hi, my name is Samuel Adebayo. I am an artist and movement practitioner based in London England. I trained as an Actor at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) from 2015- 2019 where I received a Foundation Diploma and BA (Hons) in Professional Acting. I have since gone on to develop my process and artistry further, collaborating with creative’s from other disciplines from sculpting, painting, cinematography and visual artists. I truly believe in the cross pollination of different art forms, from my experience this is how innovative ideas and concepts are discovered. This workshop is a result of a high demand from colleagues and my creative circle. It seems there is a need for all types of artists to come together and move as one while expressing each other's individuality. Since COVID, touch and physical intimacy has been shunned (for understandable reasons), but I believe the world craves its presence now more than ever. My practice is to help as many people through my teachings by aligning actors and artists within their body. The aim is for them to have a deeper awareness of themselves, each-others and space through mindfulness and conscious movement.

Essentially; Listen and Respond.

My practise has influences from Laban, Gollier, Lecoq, Trish Arnold and animal flow, these teachings have been passed down to me from body to body at institutions such as LAMDA, RADA and Oxford School of Drama as well as countless workshops in and around London.

Hi, I'm Bartolomeo Bartolini and I'm a performer with a general European accent :) Puppeteer and stilt-walker for @walkwithamal since 2021, I travelled in 14 countries, spreading a message of hope for refugee children. I toured the UK and Italy with my light-hearted and cinematic original play "So... You Knew?", challenging the misinformation regarding the climate crisis in the fossil fuel industry.Drawing from my experience in the industry and my training at East15, since 2022 he's been a physical theatre workshop leader and visiting teacher @scuola.liminaltheatre in Florence (Italy).

In my work I use different physical theatre practices to tell stories that feel important to me and to society. In the next "Move and Play" session we'll start from our body and after we discover and exercise the basics of puppetry, we will put our skills straight into practice by devising short stories.
