About this Event
Mount Baker Emergency Hub Training
Who Should Attend? Anyone interested in helping our neighborhood during a disaster. No experience necessary.
What will you learn? You will learn about the purpose of a Hub, how it works, and your role as a volunteer.
Details: We’ll practice the basic roles and run through “scripts” (situations we think our neighbors will come to the Hub with). It will be fun and interactive. You will quickly grasp how everything works together and feel much more prepared to support your household – and your neighbors - after a disaster.
ALL are welcome! RSVP encouraged but not required.
If you can’t attend but are interested in volunteering or learning more, contact us at [email protected] or visit our webpage at https://www.mountbaker.org/mount-baker-hub.
Accommodation for persons with disabilities and for alternate language formats upon request to [email protected].
Project funded in part by a Neighborhood Matching Fund award from Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.
