About this Event

Mother’s Day: Build Your Own Toad Abode

Skip the flowers—make something together instead.
Join us for a laid-back Mother’s Day workshop where you and Mom (or someone like Mom) can build a cozy little home for your garden’s tiniest tenants—no permits required. It’s the perfect mix of creative time, a little laughter, and getting your hands muddy together.

In this beginner-friendly handbuilding class, you’ll shape and assemble your toad house, then add textures, doorways, and all the personality you want to pack into it. Go simple and earthy or a little funky—we’ll guide you every step of the way.

Come as a duo or make one as a gift—either way, you’ll leave with muddy memories, messy hands, and a much better story than “we went out to eat.”

Instructor: Caelin McDaniel
Cost: $50 per person — includes all materials, tools, and firing

Accessing the Studio:
The PACA building doors are locked. When you arrive, please call (814) 520-5089 and your instructor will buzz you in.

Accessibility:
If you need elevator access (we’re on the third floor), email [email protected] ahead of time, and we’ll assist. The elevator is old-fashioned and cannot be called with a button.
