During this two-hour session, you’ll be guided through the art of floral arranging using the freshest, most vibrant blooms, many local to BC. We’ll explore sustainable techniques, including how to use chicken wire as a base instead of floral foam to continue eco-friendly arranging. Our expert instructor, Dina of Jorbelina Flowers, will share insights on seasonal flowers and how to select and style them for stunning displays.
What to Expect:
The first portion of the class will allow you to settle in, enjoy a high tea-inspired spread featuring scones with jams and crème fraîche, fresh fruit, delicate sandwiches, and—of course—a glass or two of bubbly mimosa. Then, we’ll dive into the creative process, step by step, ensuring you leave with both a beautiful floral arrangement and the confidence to create more in the future.
