Yes....ooh Yes. it's back again -the infamous CFA North Shore Beer Crawl!!!And remarkably. your Event Host has listened to the feedback from runners in the the 2024 event and made the necessary changes. Mostly the challenges were the line ups in the breweries on a sunny Saturday afternoon, which were horrendous. So great news - we are back to Covid rules for the Beer Crawl - you don't go to the beers, the beers come to you, or more strictly true, the beers are with you!!!
We will also be enjoying the stupendous Alcohol Friendly Parks of the North Shore. Here is how it will work this year:
You arrive at 1:45 pm on the day, with $20 of hard cold cash (remember those days)!!!!
You will then receive 4 beers of your choice (IPA, Pale Ale, Stout, Lager, Zinger, etc) from select North Shore breweries. You and your group then run your beers to the following Alcohol Friendly Parks (in any old order you want):
- Princess Park
- Seylynn Park
- Kirkstone Park
- Kings Mill Walk Park
Remember to take a selfie of your team joyously sipping or glugging the beer in each Park.
Then back to Victoria Park for celebrations, prize giving and more beers. What could be more fun!!
No Strava or GPX map data will be available - it's a Beer Crawl after all, so any route works! 🙂.
