Bring your Mom to Afternoon Tea service! Guests are encouraged to don your easter tea dresses and big hats for this fun tea event.
When you join us for tea at 8 Cats Cincinnati, you’re not just visiting a tea house—you’re stepping into a historic home that transports you back more than a century, to a time when tea was served in intimate settings inside private residences. Our Poolside Afternoon Tea Experience is simply an extension of the indoor space.
This special Mother's Day Afternoon Tea will be held in our backyard oasis, surrounding our pool area, where the sounds of the waterfall and the zoo's painted dogs and gibbons can be heard in the background. You’ll be welcomed into this serene space with a tiny teacup filled with a sample of one of our house-curated teas. From there, your party will be seated at tables surrounding the pool space where you’ll enjoy the remainder of your tea service. Please note, we will have table covered with umbrella's and in the shade as much as possible, along with nearby fans on the warmer days.
Guests are served a traditional three-tiered tray of freshly baked treats and savory bites, along with unlimited cups of our curated teas- One for each of resident kitties served both iced and hot. During your visit, you can also look forward to warm fluffy scones being hand delivered, right out of the oven.
While our resident cats are not permitted outdoors and will not be present during these events, guests are welcome to come inside and spend time visiting with the cats on the first floor of the home.
In the event of inclement weather, we will relocate the tea indoors.
Free Parking is available in the rear of the venue at 239 Forest Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45229, as well as directly on Forest Ave. and Wilson Ave.
Refund & Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the event will receive a credit toward a future event.
No credits for no-shows.
