About this Event
We invite you to spend a meaningful Mother’s Day creating with nature.
In this hands-on botanical printing session, you’ll create a silk scarf using vintage 1980s Japanese kimono silk, giving new life to a textile rooted in tradition. Working with flowers and New Zealand native leaves such as eucalyptus, maple, grevillea and mānuka, you'll transfer their pigments onto natural fibres in a sustainable method.
Come with your mum, your child, or simply come for yourself. You'll leave with a wearable piece shaped by nature, memory and tradition.
One adult is welcome to attend with one child (aged 6+) to share the experience and create one piece together.
No experience needed. All materials included.
