Come to hear about the wonderful naming of fascinating night flying moths and see what was flying in local gardens the night before!
About this Event

David Brown, County Recorder for larger moths and Moth Conservation Officer for Warwickshire Butterfly Conservation, will be opening four light traps collected from local gardens. Enjoy a light breakfast and listen to his anecdotes as he identifies the moths and tell stories of how they came to be named. There are a beautiful array of night flying moths which we day dwellers miss. You might be astonished by the beauty of some. The event is free, but cash donations on the day to Open Gardens for Wildlife will be welcome.
