AFTER an incredibly successful debut year, the award-winning Mossley Farmers’ Market is returning to offer monthly events for the community from Sunday 26 April 2026.The event, organised by Tameside Council has stalls provided by Little Owl Artisan and independent traders, where attendees can browse a range of locally sourced products and unique treats on the final Sunday of every month in Market St Car Park, from 9am-2pm.
The market, which will run up to November, will also feature a range of family‑friendly entertainment. Previous events have included buskers, character appearances such as Spiderman and the Joker, classic car shows, and face painting.
Some of the popular products on offer include homemade pies, artisan bread, fresh eggs, specialist sauce, unique drinks, baked goods and locally grown plants.
