About this Event
Celebrate Arab American Heritage Month by experiencing the rich flavors and traditions of Morocco in this hands-on workshop. Led by Youssef El Berrichi, Director of Roots Academy in Morocco and professor of Arabic language and culture, participants will learn the art of preparing authentic Moroccan mint tea and the cultural traditions behind it. This adults-only workshop invites participants to work in pairs to prepare their own pot of tea while practicing traditional techniques such as rinsing the leaves, adding herbs and pouring in the high-pour style.
