The teacher hasn't mentioned grabbing them and you're unsure how to properly use them. For most classes... the yoga teacher may not mention how to use them. It's something that can intuitively be self-taught (the hands don't reach the floor so you naturally grab a block to rest the hand on) or the teacher cues when you could use a block to support your practice but doesn't show you how. Morning Yoga with Props is here to guide a class that will teach you how when and why to use the props. You'll gain the confidence and knowledge kicking in the intuition of when to use them.
Carmita will guide you through poses and offer examples of how to utilize props like blocks pillows blankets a strap chair or the wall. You'll learn which poses benefits you when using props or not. In time you'll learn through your own practice when to grab different props to use even if a teacher doesn't mention them.
This class is for all levels (beginners to advanced) and will offer a Vinyasa (flow) based stretch and offer a time for Q&A about prop use. It takes place Thursdays from 9:45am est to 10:45am est.
