Flow & Form: Intuitive Crochet Sculpting with Korean Mulberry Paper Yarn
This workshop invites participants to explore crochet beyond fixed patterns, embracing an intuitive, free-form sculpting approach. Guided by the natural flow of the hand and moment-to-moment decisions, they will create unique three-dimensional pieces without pre-designed structures. The session will begin with a brief material introduction, offering a chance to lightly engage with hanji (Korean mulberry paper), sensing its texture and possibilities. Participants will then be introduced to crochet basics with loose, adaptive variations in technique. Rather than following standard rules, they will be encouraged to insert the hook wherever it feels right, freely build loops, and discover their own rhythm and structure through the process. Blending heritage material with contemporary expression, this session fosters a meditative and spontaneous making experience.
