About this Event
Start your Wednesday with a blend of slow, mindful movement and meditation designed to awaken your body and calm your mind. This 60-minute class is perfect for all levels, offering very gentle stretches and breathwork to release tension, increase flexibility, and get you awakened for the day. By the end of this class, we hope to have you feeling energized and ready to take on the day with presence and calmness. Join us and feel the power of mindful movement and meditation!
Meet your Facilitator:
Rafael received his 500 hour yoga training in India in Kriya Yoga and Meditation. After serving as a combat soldier in the Middle East, he turned to meditation to help him process the death and grief he experienced on his deployments.
He became an Emergency Room Nurse in 2019 and continued to lean on his practice to navigate the high stress environment he was working in. The powerful techniques of yoga and meditation have helped him find more mindfulness and balance in his own life by teaching him how to release anxiety and trauma.
Rafael takes a practical approach to teaching yoga and is very passionate about supporting his students on their own journey within.
