We're back! It's the first Moorforge session of 2025...A folk, roots and acoustic session in a viking longhouse.
The site is open from 18.30, with music starting around 19.00 and going on til midnight. All are welcome to play, sing, speak, dance, or to simply watch and relax in the stunning Moorforge Viking Settlement longhouse. Cosy and intimate with great music in a unique viking age building. Please bring refreshments to eat, drink and share.
Space, and therefore ticket numbers, are limited at the moment, as our waterlogged fields are unsuitable for parking. Advance tickets are £10. Available from here...

We may be able to keep some £12 tickets on the door - first come, first served - but we do recommend buying in advance to avoid disappointment.
* If you are a regular musician at the session, please make sure to contact us directly for other arrangements so we can sort you out with drinks and free camping. *
Overnight camping for tents and vans is available at £8.00 per person if you are attending the session. Individual camping tickets are available here...

Parking space is limited, as the weather gets wetter. If your camper is on the larger side, please check with us first.
N.B. Moorforge is in a fairly remote site and, as such, can be subject to the intemperate whims of our beautiful Cumbrian weather. It can also get a little smoky. As an authentic viking age site, we do everything we can to be as accessible as possible. Please do contact us if you have any queries.
Please: bring a torch or lantern as well as blankets and cushions as needed. Wrap up and wear decent boots. Take your rubbish away with you. Be awesome to one another.
