BIG NEWS!! Wild Deer Events are teaming up with our friends at Events up North/Timing up North to bring you the North Lakes Half Marathon on the ROADS in the outstanding Lorton Valley! This popular established event has had a breather in 2024 and we aim to bring it back even stronger in 2025. There will be an improved route starting and finishing in Cockermouth Town Centre, taking in this wonderful part of the Lakes. Most of the route is on the quite country lanes through the stunning Lorton Valley. All finishers will get a Medal, Merchandise (socks, Buff, water bottle or coffee tumbler) snack & a drink. There’s also the option to buy an event t-shirt on entry for £10.*measured course on partial closed roads
