In the mid-20th century, Namadgi National Park played a surprising role in space exploration. During the 1969 Apollo 11 mission, Honeysuckle Creek Tracking Station beamed the first live images of Neil Armstrong’s historic step onto the Moon. Today only its foundations remain, but its story still inspires. Join a Ranger to be guided on a journey through this mid-century marvel.
