π² Uncover a magical world hidden beneath your feet! π³π Join us for a gentle Autumn adventure as we explore the hidden life of the National Arboretumβs old growth Himalayan Cedar forest. Designed for children aged 4-8, the Little Ecologists Forest Walk introduces young learners to the tiny creatures, birds and seasonal changes that make the forest come alive.
π Children will peek into the world of insects, spiders and other miniβbeasts, discover natural treasures on the forest floor, and enjoy handsβon craft to finish the session. Guided by our education team, this program encourages curiosity, respectful interactions, careful observation, and a deeper connection with the natural environment.
βΏ This activity is designed to be inclusive of varying abilities. The Himalayan Cedar Forest is accessed via a sealed Grade 1 path, wheelchairs may need assistance. Please get in touch to discuss how this program can be adapted to suit your needs.
