As winter starts to settle in, our May Moon Ride will offer the perfect opportunity to layer up, fire up the engines and enjoy an early evening ride with fellow members.
Led by Marius Bezuidenhout and supported by Paul Greebe, the group will depart from BP Centurion at 17:30 sharp (arrive by 17:00).
Heading east towards Garsfontein and Faerieglen, this short and social route of approximately 25km will be ideal for a relaxed ride. Expect a comfortable 40–50 minute journey. It is just enough to enjoy the transition from daylight into dusk, one of the most rewarding times to be on the road.
Riders should be prepared for winter conditions, with cool temperatures and the possibility of damp or wet patches along the route. The ride will be fully tarred and pillion-friendly, making it suitable for all members, whether you’re riding solo or sharing the experience.
The destination, Thirst @ 28° East, will provide the perfect setting to unwind after the ride. Members can look forward to good company, warm conversation and a chance to connect off the bikes.
With first aid support in place and an experienced ride team leading the way, members can ride with confidence and ease.
