Create and play on Sunday, 5/31, as you explore monotype printmaking techniques using gelliplates in this experimental hands-on session.
About this Event

Join us at Field Workshop in Miami Shores for a contemporary, hands-on introduction to gelliprinting; an accessible, portable, and reusable printmaking process that blends structure with experimentation.

This workshop is open to all levels (no experience needed!). Participants will learn several techniques through guided demos, then have the freedom to explore, experiment, and even break the “rules” to see what happens. It’s all about discovering your own process not creating the next Picasso.

Gelliprinting is a versatile tool you can carry into your own practice. It is perfect for junk journaling, collage, one-of-a-kind artwork, and layered mixed media pieces.

We will focus on building texture, color, and expressive marks while encouraging curiosity, play, and creative risk-taking.

✨ Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy or bring an apron.

Come ready to learn, experiment, and make something uniquely yours.

Techniques we will cover:

Collagraph monoprinting / stencils

Charcoal Transfer

Posca Marker Transfer

Printing on Fabric
