About The Global Coralition
The Global Coralition combines art, science, and community to regenerate our precious marine ecosystems. Their underwater sculptures installations create coral restoration and ecotourism sites, catalyzing ecosystem regrowth and local and international awareness. Their holistic ridge-to-reef approach recognizes the interconnection between ecosystems; from river headwaters, wetlands, and lagoons to coral reefs and marine areas. This science-based strategy integrates marine protection, coral farming, mangrove restoration, ecotourism, and community development.
About Layla Love
Layla Love is an internationally acclaimed artist with more than 100 global exhibitions, including Paris Photo, Art Basel, and AIPAD, and has shown her work alongside masters such as Picasso, Warhol, and Basquiat. Love uses precious metals like 24K gold and pure Voltarra silver amongst other avant materials like ancient woods or mycelium as to portray the intricacies of our existence, with many critical layering details, going beyond what meets the eye. She has traversed all walks of life, beginning as a photojournalist working in conflict zones across Africa and beyond, touring the world, and voicing the voiceless. Her 'Art Paired With Purpose' bridges documentary, abstraction, and material experimentation, creating an inspiring art language and practice.
About Light Mapping
Light mapping is an immersive projection technique where large-scale imagery and light are cast across surfaces — buildings, landscapes, even ocean environments — transforming them into living, breathing works of art that stop people in their tracks and make the invisible visible. Through the Reef Revival Arts & Cultural Showcase, Layla Love harnesses this medium to project the hidden beauty and fragility of our ocean ecosystems onto the world stage, using art as the entry point that moves hearts first, so minds and action follow.
