Monet & the Figure Life Drawing Workshop

A relaxed, untutored life drawing session inspired by the work of Claude Monet and the atmosphere of Impressionism.

This is a drop-in workshop for artists who want time and space to draw in their own way. Poses from the life model are loosely inspired by compositions, gestures, and moods found in Monet’s painting, inviting you to explore light, colour, and movement through the figure.

There is no formal instruction. Simply arrive, settle in, and work at your own pace. Whether you prefer charcoal, pencil, ink, or paint, you’re free to interpret the session however you like.

Expect a mix of short and longer poses in a calm, creative environment—an opportunity to experiment, observe, and enjoy the process of drawing from life with an Impressionist twist. 🎨
