Looking to connect with the LGBTQ+ community on the Big Island? Join Kehena Mauka Nui Club for their weekly Gay Day BBQ/Potluck every Monday from 3:30 PM to 8 PM. Here's the scoop:
Mingle in the Garden: Relax and socialize after a day at Kehena Beach (known for its welcoming LGBTQ+ atmosphere).
Bring a Dish to Share: This is a potluck-style BBQ, so bring your favorite food or drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) to share.
BYOB: Feel free to bring your own beer, wine, or liquor to stock the shared bar. Parking Tips: Parking can be tight. Carpool if possible. Park inside the gate (if open), on the road shoulder (all 4 wheels off the road!), or across the street. It's a safe, short walk to the beach. Respectful Gathering: This is a clothing-optional event (nudity may be present). 18+ to attend. Leashed and cleaned-up dogs are welcome. No liquor shots allowed.
