This FREE event will be an opportunity for local talent between the ages of 3-25 to display their artistic skills on a stage.
About this Event

This FREE event will be an opportunity for local talent between the ages of 3-25 to display their artistic skills on a stage in front of their family, friends and community.  The show will feature the viewing of “Dream Big Anyway” Short Film created by #dcfilmlife Film School students.  We will be honoring Ben’s Chili Bowl with a Joe Mann’s Black Wall Street Award in partnership with Mr. Doni Glover of Bmorenews.com and BlackUSA.News. Charles Hart Middle School Dancers, The Washington School for Ballet, Elementary School Cheerleaders,  Potomac Job Corps Kreative Mindz, Dance Team, Marching Bands, Fashion Show, A Rap Cypher, Skits, Poetry and a Black History Tribute to Black Inventors and to the Legacy of The Late Mr. Harold “Ike” Foster “Out of the Mouth of Babes”


This event will also have information on how to sign up for Job Corps, Life Insurance, Alliance of Concerned Men Conflict Resolution Workshops and Momma’s Safe Haven’s Resilience Academy.


Momma’s Safe Haven is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, based in Washington, DC; that has been serving the DC community since 2014.  It was founded on the need to support the community by encouraging Self Love, Higher Education and Self Employment by being a support bridge to those in need of resources to get them to the next level in their lives through their programs and events.


We believe that it takes a village to raise a child, and united we stand to “taking our streets back one event at a time”, and with this “DC’s Youth Has Talent” Black History Show, continue our dedication and commitment to serve the community we live and work in!
