About this Event
Counterpoint collaborative partners, clarinetist Zachary Good of the renowned Eighth Blackbird and internationally recognized violinist Katie Hyun, join pianist & founder Natalia Kazaryan for a vibrant concert of music for violin, clarinet, and piano. The program includes several hidden gems, including trios by Aram Khachaturian and the unsung Russian composer, Galina Ustvolskaya, as well as familiar favorites in Bartók’s Contrasts and Bernstein’s clarinet sonata, programmed alongside wonderfully evocative contemporary works by the American composers Jonathan Kolm and Alvin Singleton.
