Model Call #5 - FashionBar The Shows: October 2026

FashionBar is casting models to walk during FashionBar The Shows – October 2026, showcasing Spring/Summer 2027 collections.

We are seeking new and experienced models to participate in FashionBar The Shows: Spring/Summer 2027. Designers representing a range of categories—from streetwear to couture—will be participating. This casting also serves as consideration for additional modeling opportunities with FashionBar LLC and designers within the Chicago fashion industry.

To participate, please complete the required model submission form before attending the casting. This form helps us collect your body measurements, including height, weight, bust, waist, and hip measurements. This information will be shared with designers to help ensure proper garment fit.

Model Comp Card Requirements

All models are required to have a professional comp card with accurate measurements on file. This is necessary for us to share your materials with designers for casting consideration.

If you do not currently have a professional comp card, a photographer will be available on site to take professional headshots and body shots. A seamstress will also take your measurements to create a professional digital model comp card.

• The cost for this service is $140.00, offered at a 75% discounted rate so models can complete the process and be considered for casting.
• Models who complete this process and are selected to walk during the October shows may also be considered for Resident Model status with FashionBar for the following six months.

Model Runway Walking Requirements

• If you have never walked in a fashion show, you will be required to complete FashionBar’s Model Walking Seminar if selected.
• Models will not walk the runway unprepared. Please review the seminar schedule and register to learn proper runway walking techniques and presentation.

Important Details

• A registration fee is required to participate in this casting.
• Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Only models auditioning may enter the casting space. Friends and family members must wait in the mall.
• Attendance is typically high, so please plan accordingly and allow extra time.

Requirements & What to Bring

Female Models

• Must be 5'8" or taller
• All dress sizes are welcome
• Wear fitted all-black clothing and bring heels (stiletto or sling-back)
• No baggy clothing

Male Models

• Must be 5'11" or taller
• Wear fitted all-black clothing and bring black boots or dress shoes
• No baggy clothing

Child Models

• All ages welcome
• Wear all black

Please bring your comp card or a clear headshot and full-body photo.
