About this Event
Gait Reset: Mastering Gait for Peak Performance
The first major evolutionary advantage of Homo sapiens was upright gait. The ability to stand, walk, and run gave our species a competitive edge, enabling us to thrive as hunter-gatherers. When it comes to mobility training, mastering gait must rank at the top of every client, athlete, or patient’s performance goals.About the intructor
This 3-hour workshop focuses on the lower limb—specifically the foot, ankle, knee, hip, and pelvis. Participants will learn:
- How to identify mobility needs using dynamic movement screens
- Table-based testing for each joint’s passive and active range of motion
- Isometric training protocols performed on the table for each joint
- Practical gym applications to train with (or around) common lower-limb joint limitations
The workshop will be hosted by Zachary Deckelbaum, a leading movement coach, CEO, and co-founder of MoveHow LLC. Zach is the creator of the highly regarded RKM (Remote Kinstretch Membership) online mobility platform, which has helped thousands worldwide reclaim joint health and movement potential. With advanced certifications including FRCms, Kinstretch Coach, FRA, FR, and CSCS, he brings elite-level expertise from 5 NFL seasons as a mobility consultant for the Miami Dolphins and ongoing private work with NY Giants athletes (plus collaborations with 49ers, Raiders, and Clippers pros). A University of Delaware Exercise Science graduate and former Functional Range Systems instructor, Zach specializes in lower limb mobility, foot mechanics, and gait retraining to boost running performance and longevity.
In this hands-on session, Zach will guide you through his proven movement screens, table assessments, and practical gym workouts to apply these methods immediately.
