Monster Draw Your Partner Tournament to follow
Swiss Bring and Monster-Style DYP on four T-3000 Tornadoes
When: Saturday April 4th
Schedule
4:45 pm: BYP Sign Ups close
5:00 pm: First matches called
7:30 pm: Tentative BYP Playoffs Start
7:30 pm: DYP Sign Ups start (no conflict with byp described below)
8:00: DYP first qualifier start
10:00-10:15: last QR round called

100% payback of entry fees
$15 entry for BYP
$10 for beginners
$10 entry for the DYP; $5 for beginners
$5 table fee for 1 event $7 for two
Tables will be set to unlimited play from 4:15 PM to midnight (or later if still used in matches).
Beginner Friendly BYP
Qualifiers will use a 1 point spot and make-it-take-it handicap for teams with a beginner player (TD discretion on this handicap)
We will use the Appleton point spot handicapping system in the bring 3/5's to keep the games fun and competitive. (Details available at the event)
- Swiss BYP matches will be given priority when the events are running concurrently

Swiss BYP:
This format will be similar to the No Pro Swiss Doubles at MN State, run on HOT software
Qualifier Rounds: Each BYP team is guaranteed 4 Race to 8 point qualifiers. Your division and seeding is based on performance in those qualifiers. Top half performers in a higher dollar bracket (70-80% of payouts), bottom half in winner take all bracket (roughly 20-30% paid out).
Playoffs: 2/3 SE; all teams make playoffs, but division, seeding and payout determined by qualifier rounds.

16 teams MAXIMUM for this qualifier. (Safest way to guarantee a spot is to DM John W in advance). If you text me your team in advance we can pre-register many of the teams.

Monster DYP:
No conflict with BYP playoffs at TD discretion
The last Qualifying round will play at 10:15 or before (No QR after 10:15). Any player that is undefeated or got 4 rounds in by then will be eligible for the playoff.
Advancing to 10:30 playoffs:
top 8 teams advance if over 18 entrants
6 teams advance if over 16
4 teams advance if over 12
