MLK Day Community Clean-Up:Join us this MLK Day as we come together to serve our neighborhood. In the spirit of Dr. King’s legacy, we’re taking action right where we live... showing love for our community through service. This all-ages, hands-on clean-up is a simple but powerful way to make a visible impact in just two hours.
Why We’re Doing This:
Community clean-ups are about more than picking up trash. They’re about pride, care, and connection. By showing up, we’re creating a cleaner, safer environment, strengthening our sense of ownership, and honoring MLK Day as a day on, not a day off.
What to Expect:
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check in. We’ll provide all supplies... gloves, trash bags, pickers, and safety vests. After a brief overview, we’ll break into teams and head out to assigned areas within the community to clean together.
After the Clean-Up
We’ll come back together at 12:00pm for lunch, provided for all volunteers. It’s a time to relax, connect, and celebrate the work we’ve done together.
