About this Event
What is a Book Swap?
A book swap is the practice of exchanging books between one person to another. Providing an affordable way for individuals to exchange books, discover new authors, and acquire a new book to read without having to make a purchase.
How it works:
Attendees bring in their unwanted books and the group gathers to browse through the selection, choosing books to take home, generally exchanging items for a similar quantity of books they contribute to the swap.
Book Swap Details:
- Drop-off starts at 1 p.m. (A time when you can drop off your items for sorting).
- Swapping takes place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
- Fiction and nonfiction books for adults, teens, and children will be accepted.
- Attendees who wish to participate can contribute up to 15 books.
- All ages are welcome to participate!
- Please provide books that are in a clean and gently used condition only; damaged books will not be accepted.
- Following the book swap, any remaining books will be donated.
Please Note: Items that do not meet event guidelines are liable for disposal. Owners will have the option to collect their items before they are discarded. Although registration is not mandatory, we highly recommend it, as registrants will receive a polite email reminder nearing the event date.
Unite with fellow book lovers for a dynamic Book Swap promoting literacy and community building.
